Risk Advisory / Condo and HOA boards
Community Association Risk Assessment
A review built for the people who volunteer to run a community. We look at coverage, reserves, buildings, vendors, storm readiness and board liability, so the board can make decisions it can defend.
Who this is for
- Condominium and homeowner association boards
- Community association managers who want an independent second look
- Boards facing renewals, special assessments, or new state requirements
What you get
- A board and property intake. Governing documents, insurance schedules, reserve information, building details and vendor contracts.
- Your RMOS Risk Index™ score. Scored with association-specific weighting for shared property, finances, governance and storm exposure.
- A board-ready report. Clear findings written for volunteers who are not insurance or finance experts.
- A presentation to the board. We explain the results and answer questions so the whole board is on the same page.
How it works
- Discovery call. A short conversation with the board or manager.
- Engagement letter. A written scope and fee approved by the board. Work starts only after you sign.
- Intake and review. The board and manager provide documents. We ask follow-up questions.
- Scoring and report. We score each risk area, weighted for associations.
- Board presentation. We walk the board through the results and agree on next steps.
Common questions
Can this help with insurance renewal?
Yes. Knowing your real exposures and coverage gaps before renewal puts the board in a stronger position.
Does this cover state condo rules?
We look at how the association is handling inspection, reserve and governance requirements. Rules change often, so we recommend confirming legal questions with the association’s attorney.
Who should commission it, the board or the manager?
Either. The board approves the engagement and receives the report.
Will you talk to our unit owners?
Only if the board asks us to. The engagement is with the association.
Every assessment ends with an RMOS Risk Index™ score weighted for your type of client. How the score works. Other assessments: Family · Business · CRE Portfolio
